The bay is bordered by limestone massifs of Lovćen, as well as the foothills of Orjen, Radoštak and Dobroštica. The southernmost fjord of Europe is naturally divided into four smaller ones: Hercegnovski, Risanski, Kotorski and Tivatski.
While Herceg Novi is known for its botanical garden, Kotor is adorned with numerous cultural and historical monuments, and Tivat takes the lead in nautical offer.
