Tara Kayaking

The famous Tara river, fast and full of waterfalls, is ideal for kayaking. In the middle of the last century, kayaking on Tara was taken up, and this attractive and adrenaline-filled "descent" down the longest mountain river in Montenegro (it is 144 kilometers long) has been increasingly in demand. Kayaking down the Tara canyon, which is the largest in Europe, is an exciting adventure and challenge both for amateurs and professionals in this sport; hence, an international competition in kayak disciplines is organized on this river.
